Till Wednesday afternoon, Guangdong has sent 1047 armed police, army men and medicare persons to quake-attacked Sichuan province. This relief team, with advanced relief and telecommunication equipments, has so far found 23 survivors and 45 bodies. And the temporary hospital has so far given treatment to 64 injures.

At 19:00 pm May 14, Guangdong Sanitation Authority sent 4 medical and epidemics-prevention teams, with 170 members and 70 medicare vehicles to Chendu by train.

Another 12 trunks loaded with medicines, foods and other materials left Guangzhou for Sichuan on May 14.
